Pumpkin Palooza and Trunk or Treat Volunteer information
IMPORTANT: Trunk hosts/Pumpkin Palooza volunteers must be cleared by the Parish Volunteer Coordinator before the event.
There are now two separate volunteer clearances:
Not yet cleared, or has your training expired? Please complete the steps here: Volunteer Clearance Process. Fingerprint clearance never expires, and Diocesan Safe Environment Training is valid for three years. Results can take up to two weeks to reach us after your Live Scan appointment, so please start early.

There are now two separate volunteer clearances:
- School events: Parents who want to volunteer at St. Christopher School events must complete the CA Youth Training required by the school (deadline 9/30/26).
- Parish events: Volunteers must be current with their Diocesan Safe Environment Training. This is the training that formerly covered both the school and the parish, but is now required only for volunteering at Parish events, including Pumpkin Palooza/Trunk or Treat. We'll check everyone's status when you sign up, and we'll confirm your spot once you're cleared.
