Volunteers Needed!
St. Christopher Ladies' Guild is need of volunteers. Visit our volunteer site and sign up! Before you sign up, you must be Safe Environment compliant. Every sign up is checked for verification of compliance. Please take these easy steps below to become compliant! Then, visit our ivolunteer link for available shifts.
Safe Environment
The Diocese of San Jose is fully committed to protecting our children (minors under age 18), and vulnerable adults. In accordance with this commitment, is the obligation of every diocesan institution and Catholic school operating with recognition of the Bishop of San Jose to assure that all personnel and volunteers are educated in the realities of child and vulnerable adult abuse.
All volunteers over the age of 18 at Saint Christopher Parish and School MUST be fingerprinted and take the "Protecting our Children" online course.
Virtus Online provides training our online training. Your old shield the vulnerable certificate of completion is still valid but, once it expires you will need to go to the new website to take their course called, “Protecting God’s Children”. The new certificate from Virtus is also good for three years. If your Shield The Vulnerable certificate has expired use the PDF attachment here for instructions to register and take the course.
