First Vice President: Reyna Downey
I grew up in San Jose in the Willow Glen neighborhood. I graduated from Willow Glen High school and then attended Santa Clara University (undergrad), Marymount University (Master’s degree), and lastly, Palo Alto University (doctoral degree). I currently work as a Forensic Psychologist evaluating inmate-patients who are incompetent to stand trial at two correctional facilities.
My husband, Sean and I have one son, Liam (8) and one daughter Aurelia (4). We were both raised Catholic and joined the St. Chris parish in 2016 when we baptized our son. I joined the Ladies Guild just before COVID and started the Book Club in 2020 and then joined the membership team in 2022. I’m excited to continue the book club and learn more in my new role.
Advisor: Chelsie Roby Chelsie is a San Jose native who grew up in Almaden, graduating from Leland High School and California State University Long Beach. She became a member of the Saint Christopher Parish in 2013 when she went through the RCIA program to receive her baptismal, reconciliation and confirmation sacraments. She and her husband, Matt, have two boys: Hudson (10) in 5th grade and Auston (6) in 1st grade. Prior to covid, Chelsie volunteered at both school and parish events. She especially enjoyed the Antique Show where she would run activities in the kids crafts room and coordinate desserts for the dining room. Chelsie currently works at a preschool in San Jose where she manages their marketing and coordinates events throughout the year. She is excited to bring back some of the traditional events at St. Chris as well as launch some new ones! She can’t wait to welcome new Ladies' Guild members and be a part of such an amazing group of women!
